Hands down my favorite local interior design studio is Healing Barsanti Home Design. Pat Healing did the interior design of my husband's childhood home during the early '80's and it was pretty fabulous in all of it's "seafoam" and "shell" pink glory. All of the furniture pieces Pat selected for the home were exquisite and timeless. We have since reupholstered all of them (after years of wear from a busy family of children and pets) and they now live happily in my in-laws new home.

I was just in NYC last week and visited their store on Lex and was blown away. They had these 'London' Armchairs upholstered in faux yellow snakeskin and they were to die for! They only costed $1450 a chair!
Fran, ugh they are expensive. I go into their shops to get inspiration and leave empty-handed every time because everything is just out of my price range. :'(

We love the ladies at HB home! They are so great. I haven't been in their new shop in NYC but the one in Westport is awesome! Great post.
