The "Man Room" Revamped

Welcome to my husband's "Man Room". Doesn't every man need one of these? Leather chairs, big tv, a place to put your feet up and kick back with a beer in hand? Honestly, this is one of my favorite rooms in our house too.

I fell head over heels in love with these Trink Turk pillows after I saw them on one of my daily blog reads here (thank you Caitlin for your incredible blog and for sharing the link to your source). I just had to have them alone with the ever-so-popular zebra pillows from West Elm.

Since our little one is toddling around now getting into EVERYTHING (can you believe he's already 1?), I knew we had to address our lack of closed storage. Originally wanting to have a custom built in, I knew that would be way out of our budget. So, this Pottery Barn media cabinet was my Plan B option. I couldn't be happier with it.

We also got rid of the West Elm jute rug that was in here and replaced it with the chocolate brown rug that was previously in our dining room (another room that has gotten a little make over to be blogged about shortly!).

Thanks for touring our "Man Room"! To find more information and to see what this room used to look like click here.

It looks lovely. We have a man den as well. And while it's not my favorite decorated space it's cozy and we spend most of our free time there.

Looks fab (although I would expect nothing less from you). Your husband is much more stylish than mine. :)

I love this space -- not what I was expecting when I saw "man room" as the post title. The framed map and TT pillows are fab!

I loved how you used these pillows. Totally unexpected and totally darling.

I keep looking at your blog because I am having total tile anxiety over my bathroom.

How did you ever decide what to do? I need help.

I love the map and the sophistication this room has.

You are so talented.

Man cave???? Hmmmm...I'm not sure about that it is way too clean and hip and cool and beautiful!! (: Maybe I'll give my hubby a break and let him have his cave, but only if it looks as nice as this!

This is the PERFECT man room for my husband! I'd say his decor style Indiana Jones meets Jude Law. This is my new inspiration room for his future office!

Where are the little green pillows from? And where did you find the vintage maps??

Wups, just saw your link to the pillows...but still would love to know where the maps came from!

I would love to recreate your map if you don't mind. Are you able to tell me the dimensions you cut the map into? Were these custom framed? it's beautiful
