Where I Shop and a Request

465 Canal St. Stamford CT

Shop-a-holics Unite! I'm an a self-confessed shopper (be it, more of a window shopper), but I just love getting out there and soaking in all of the prettiness that little boutiques have to offer. So, I thought I'd start sharing some of my local haunts with you! I'm not benefitting in anyway (no kick-backs here) by doing this. I just hope that my fellow Fairfield County-ers can benefit by this! This is just a short list as I have MANY MORE shops that I'll share with you in the future.

{Pimlico Home in New Canaan }

I also have a request from anyone who reads this humble, little blog. I'd love to get some feedback from you all. Anything you'd like to see here? Anything you'd like to know about me, my home, my life, anything?

{SM Home in Greenwich}

I try to keep my posts original, mainly about my life and my home without posting too many photos that have been bounced around the blog-sphere to death.

{Dovecote in Westport}

So, as you can tell, I'm suffering from some Blog-posting-block and I need your help to fix it! So, leave me a comment, or drop me an e-mail. I'd love to hear from you (including all you lurkers too)!

I'd love to see you blog more about your little boy, as I have a son who is about a month younger than him. Your son is adorable by the way!

Hi Teresa. I'm one of those lurkers. :) I love your blog but I usually don't comment because I'm a complete novice when it comes to interior design. So with that in mind, I'd love to read more about your design process when you're working with a particular space. For instance, do you have a specific routine that you go through (sketches, inspiration boards, etc...) each time and how do you take what you've learned in school and apply it to a real space.

Keep up the good work!

I am a lurker too...I love seeing how creative you are! But as a recent new Mommy, I would love to hear how you are making your house work with your amazing decor. I am having a hard time making my house not look like a toy store exploded in it at all times and still be able to entertain! My little one is 1 and a half and walking and hitting everything in the house so the prettiness seems to have faded.

I think your own design projects will always be loved by your readers. And as much as I don't love opening my reader and seeing the exact same images everywhere I love when bloggers post some inspiration that I've never seen - so if theres inspiration you have found and love - please share! There can never be too many beautiful images out there and I absolutely love your taste!

I would love if you gave more detais. ie. the brand of the fabrics and where you take them to get made into bed linens and curtains.

Also I still want to see your new revamped dining room.

Hi

I just found your blog and think it's great. I would like to know where you got those two lovely framed pics over your bed....also do you do a mood board or just draw it out before you design a space?

I love your blog but have never commented. I really enjoyed reading about where you shop as I also live in Fairfield County. Your bathroom renovation was gorgeous and I love looking at design boards as I am constantly looking for inspiration.

I think you have a unique perspective as an interior design student and budding designer. I would love to read and see more about what you are learning along the way, both in the classroom and in practice.

Hi Teresa! I found your blog today via Bryn's blog, and enjoy it a lot! You have a lovely house and did an amazing job on in-laws house! Would you mind to share where is that white duvet in MIL's guest bedroom? I fell in love with it and MUST have :))

Hi Teresa! First of all, when I'm down your way I'll need to check out these shops. I guess I have 2 ideas. 1) I love interior design and since I have no formal education, would love to know your thought process, tips, guidelines, etc. related to your work 2) I'm a blogger in CT too and would love posts geared towards design related events/stores/activities/classes in the CT area!

I've enjoyed your blog for some time. As a mom, I'd love to hear more about how motherhood is for you coupled with work, wife, house. etc.
I like that you show your work vs. pics that we all see all over the web although I like it all.
Good luck!

Lurker here... I check your blog often and I wish there were more frequent posts!!
Would love to see more of the following:
1. Life with baby. I have a 16mo boy and I think it is fantastic you can keep your house so styled with a little one.
2. I also like to see flops... did you try something and it didn't work? we could all benefit!
3. More of your design work, details details details
4. I wish I could click on the pics on the right nav pane and see more of each project.

Another lurker agreeing with all of the above. I grew up in Stamford so I love seeing your posts about my hometown and the surrounding areas. It's been ~15 years since I spent any substantial time there. Your blog helps give me that fix.

I have 9-month old twin boys so I also enjoy the posts where you talk about your son. And would love to see more on incorporating child clutter with design.

Hmm... I totally know what you mean. keeping it original is hard, but I think people appreciate it. Thanks so much for stopping by. Much appreciated. I'm always into the design process - finding out how your mind works when designing or even shopping.
I love your blog, and happy to find it.

Ditto all of the above.
I am not HUGE into design, but I do like seeing things you do to your home because I like knowing what people think.

I have a 16mo old boy so I'd love to see your little guy's room (oh- duh- I should maybe check your archives and see if it's there?).

I also like it when people express their opinions, so if you want to be even more opinionated, that's always cool with me.
