Drive-By-Blog-Post

Husband out of town since Saturday. No babysitter. On my own with baby for first time. Holy Mole. So tired. Husband not coming home until Sunday. Ugh. I'm eating cereal for dinner. Baby started smiling. A lot. Swoon.

Beautiful! What a wonderful smile. He looks very content, so sleepy though you may be, you have to admit that is such a perk-me-up.

I'll be thinking of you until your hubby comes home-I've been there.

Isn't it funny how just when you think you might lose it they smile and it just completely overides the last 24 hours you've spent pulling your hair out...they are psychic that way! Just set your expectations for productivity EXTREMELY low and then you'll be pleasantly suprised......or you could just have a drink :)He looks great, you're doing an awesome job!

* Just saw the "headline pic" and HAD to stop by~~~ I needed a SHOT IN THE ARM and YOUR precious wee-one fills the bill!!!

We were never blessed with children, so I can't say "I've beeeeen there!", BUUUUT, on the OTHER side of the coin, aren't you INCREDIBLY BLESSED that you ARE??? (And I KNOW you already KNOW that, but hey! You've got a right to feel overwhelmed now n' then!!!~~~~ Then SOMEDAY, when THEY'RE MARRIED & ready to start a family, you can remind them then of what you sometimes whent thru NOW!!! Mom's have such FUN doing that! I know MINE did, and we would laugh together so much!!! Insert silly, warm & happy chuckles here!!!)

YEP, that one teeny-weeny smile, for one lil' angel on earthm does the trick everytime!!!!!!

You are truly blessed!!!

Warmest,

oh Gosh I remember those days. Those long and exhausting and tiring days. And exhausting and long. And yet so wondrous. You need to join a Mama's group. Stamford Hospital and Greenwich Hospital have them. Some of those new moms saved my sanity and became lifelong friends! Your baby is adorable!
