House Progress - Master Bedroom (almost complete)

I think this may be the only time I will be able to snap a photo of our bedroom looking so crispy and neat. I even ironed the sheets just for you (I let my husband think it was for him and he even noticed - wow!).

So, here's the run down of where I found the items in this room (since I had a few inquiries in previous posts): dresser is from Craig's List, the lamps I found at Restoration Hardware a few years ago.

I found these end tables at Overstock a little over a year ago and couldn't be happier with them. The lamps are from Circa Lighting.

The headboard is from Target and it's fantastic - the quality is great and it fit nicely over our old one.

The duvet cover and bolster are from Pottery Barn (the bolster is on major sale right now too!)

Here is a better detail of the wall and ceiling color. The walls are a soft white (BM Feathered Down) and the ceiling is the palest blue color (BM Seafoam). I love the way the ceiling looks. I feel like the blue makes the ceiling seem taller for some reason.

Here is my weird, little corner. I'm still not satisfied with the way this looks, but oh well. I may see if I can move the chair to the other side of the window and find a bench for the end of the bed. We'll see.

I'm still waiting to have the ceiling light fixture installed (should be in a week or so) and then all of the major work should be finished - thank goodness!

Amazing! Love the space!!! I love what you did with the ceiling and cannot wait for the light fixture, it's gorgeous! It must be a big relief that everything is done, now it's time to concentrate on baby! :)

You've done a great job. Love the pale blue ceiling colour. Altogether very restful, and what more could one want in a bedroom?

Everything came together so nicely. I'm sure your happy to have this complete before the baby is here.

Looks FABULOUS!!! You've done a stellar job of mixing in budget friendly pieces with more high end stuff. It all looks amazing and relaxing and timeless. Great job.

Im sure ive mentioned it before but I heart that dresser and those crystal lamps. Swoon.

Now you need to help me with my disaster of a bedroom!

Beautiful. Serene. Classic. Fabulous. I have many more complimentary words I can use to describe this room but I fear it'll take all day =)

It's so pretty! BUT...the butterfly picture in your wall scheme is throwing off the look of the collection. I'd take that one down.

Thanks so much for your comments!! The room isn't perfect, but I'm content with it for now.

Anon - thanks for the suggestion re: the butterfly, but I personally like the asymmetry it adds to the collage. It's just me, but I like it that way. : )

Your home is lovely. I hope you don't mind my asking, but where did you get your beautiful headboard.

I've always wanted a tufted headboard but wanted the option of also using a slipcover on it. Until I saw your headboard I didn't think it would work.

Lovely!
