Just the other day while on my favorite decor website, Decorpad, a question was posed..."What decor items can you do without?" These were a few of the cringe-worthy interior design faux pas discussed as well as some of my own. (I'm sure I'm about to offend someone with this post)
4. "Bordello-Chic" nursery decor
7. (theme-y) Faux finishes
This room has the token fake plants, "Tuscan" theme, AND tacky paint job.
8. Mirrored walls
(I'll bet this room has a fake plant and a collection of porcelain dolls somewhere)
9. Over-the-top "European Elegance"
10. Painted accent walls (faux painting is an added bonus)
I'm guilty of this one (I think I had accent walls in two rooms in a previous house)
So, what decorating faux pas am I forgetting?
