Blogging? What's That?

I must be the last person in America to have a blog. So, here it goes. I'm going to give it a whirl. (this is basically a test post, so bare with me until I can figure this blogging thing out)

Major feat of the day...

Baked my first apple pie from scratch! My mother-in-law will be so proud. I know, it's not apple season, but I had a handful of apples from the past weekends farmer's market that were begging to be baked. Recipe courtesy of my kitchen Bible - The Joy of Cooking. Classic.
