Babysitter?

Any offers?

(disclaimer: No babies were harmed in creating this post. I picked the little sweetie up immediately after this photo was taken. Did the crying stop? No.)

Ah, sweet bebe boy. It's tough being so small! How is Grayson doing? And you and your husband?

As I say when things seem a little crazy, "This too shall pass".

You're a great mommy doing a great job. Just love, love, love. You and your sweet boy are going to be just fine.

And P.S.-I know you've probably had this offer thrown at you a million times, but if you ever need to vent or have a question, I have an open ear and email box.

Take care!

ohh he is so cute! I love the story about his birth its very differnet from how we have it in Sweden.....We only have midwifes for help in the delivery room etc and you are right about everything that comes after the birth.....it takes quite som time to recover...with love from sweden

I know it's hard to see your baby cry but it's so cute sometimes you have to take a pic. I think it makes these situations lighter.

This is a hard transition to make. You love them, you want your old life back...the list goes on. It's a mess in these early months. Once he hits a rhythm and gets into something resembling a schedule, you'll feel human again. Hang in there! xoxo

I am a new mom too, and I can totally relate. If you would like some helpful techniques for quieting him down when he gets on a seemingly inconsolable crying jag, check out "The Happiest Baby on the Block" by Dr. Harvey Karp. There is a book and a DVD and I found them both very helpful.
